a TECHNICAL PANEL to understand and adopt Zebrafish Model. ALL FREE OF COST. T&C Apply. Proposal Evaluation Panel’s decision will be final and binding.
Proposal to include
1. TITLE – clear title indicating the proposed research approach or key question
2. ABSTRACT – Abstracts around 250 words that will provide an overview of what is proposed.( research problem, objectives, methods, expected outcomes, and significance of the study)
2. BACKGROUND AND RATIONALE – should include: the background and issues of your proposed research, a short literature review, a summary of key debates and developments in the field
3. RESEARCH QUESTION(S)/NOVELTY – clearly mention and explanation as to what problems and issues are to be explored and why they are worth exploring, how the proposed concept or theory is novel
4. RESEARCH DESIGN/METHODOLOGY- provide an outline of the proposed methodology
5. PLAN OF WORK & TIME SCHEDULE – outline of the various stages and corresponding time lines for developing and implementing the research. (study duration not more than 6 to 8 months)
6. EXPECTED OUTCOME/DELIVERABLES – A discussion of the anticipated findings or results of the research, as well as the potential contributions to the existing knowledge, theory, or practice in the field.
7. BUDGET –Estimate the costs associated with the research project.
8. BIBLIOGRAPHY – A complete list of all the sources cited in the research proposal, formatted according to the Vancouver citation style .
Zebrafish – Information, Resources, & Research in India
Registered with Govt of India as a not for profit organization, we began our journey in Jan 2021. We have recently completed our registration with Department of Biotechnology, BIRAC Biotechnology Industry Research Assistance Council. Currently we are very small. Looking to develop this community in India, we are taking steps to build our team and resources. We are purely bound by the intention of making a vibrant zebrafish community. All the people associated are well established working professionals from Academics & Research. Zebrafish Foundation India took shape when a group of Zebrafish Academicians met for a workshop on Zebrafish and realized that an initiative to bring together students, academicians, and researchers would be best, to benefit all. They pooled their positivity to put this platform. Through this platform Zebrafish Community India will thrive and grow to provide students more opportunities in research at their own institutions, with the right guidance and single online platform that provides information about everything on Zebrafish Model based research.We are currently building our website, connecting with stakeholders, students, academicians, researchers, international organizations, commercial partners (scientific equipment’s & service providers) and zebrafish animal husbandry partners from India. We have just begun and its a long way to go, we hope to receive support from all.
